Frequently asked questions
How is AI HD different from cloud photo enhancer apps?
Cloud apps use very large AI models on their servers. AI HD runs on your own device, so it is free and private. It works best on small or blurry photos and sharpens real detail; it does not invent faces that are not in the photo.
Why is AI HD only for photos up to 720 px?
It runs on your phone or computer without uploading anything, so very large images would take too long. Large photos already contain plenty of detail, so Smart Enhance is the better choice for them.
Can I fix an old printed photo?
Yes, but the Old Photo Restore tool is made for that. It also removes scratches, dust and colour tint.
How do I compare with the original?
Drag the picture left and right. The left side shows the original and the right side shows the result.
